Preface In my book, “Can Objectivism Save the World I wrote several pages with ideas in different categories that Objectivists can implement in order to help a candidate gain placement in a given field. Here I will publish a supplemental list of new ideas that were not presented in the book. The first new idea is an Objectivist Feeder System. Here is the idea. It is new. Run with it. I found the above phrase in some materials that I had been working on a few years ago and wondered where I had found it. I realized that several years ago, I had been watching a movie about a horse who had had a tumble on the race track and had lost his enthusiasm for racing, despite the fact that he was a very fast horse. The owner, while contemplating what to do with the horse, probably said something like “He needs to learn how to be a horse again – run until he stops!” Of course, I’m mindful of the idea that running “like a horse” is a real thing applied to very ambitious people who seem to always be working at breakneck speed. Yet, it also occurred to me that the original statement could not only be applied to retired racehorses but to people suffering through depression. If you focus only on protecting freedom of religion, you ignore the other areas of expression, especially the opposite of religion which is reason.
