Freedom of Philosophy

I believe it is the focus on religion that represents one of the major problems of the First Amendment. If you focus only on protecting freedom of religion, you ignore the other areas of expression, especially the opposite of religion which is atheism. Shouldn’t there be a freedom to unbelief? By ignoring the wider concept of freedom of philosophy, you set the stage for a distorted perspective on freedom of speech. This ignores the freedom of people not to believe as well as the freedom of people to create entirely new fields that are influenced by science and the pursuit of new knowledge - that have nothing to do with religion or atheism.

The ability of your company to adapt to unforeseen problems is important if the company is to survive. It involves alternating between induction and validated deduction to identify the next logical step in a problematic business processes.

A Boomer takes on the Far Right

Today, there are few conservatives who openly advocate capitalism. Today’s conservative “capitalists” are not even “capitalists” in name only; and in another sense, they are not even conservatives. They are, more specifically, as we will see, pragmatists.

In my previous “Boomer” book, I focused on those elements of the left whose main focus was political actors was to 1) be very close to the leftist power structure, and 2) openly seek dictatorship. I will take the same approach when discussing what I call the far right.

In a sense, one element of the far right today holds that we should all “come to Jesus” and the other element thinks we should come to the “government/business alliance. The first element claims an adherence to the constitution while the second element claims an adherence to capitalism. Both claims are false, as we will see. The first group is actually seeking a theocracy while the second group seeks an economy based upon government dominance over the economy.
